For anyone who is interested, I finally got around to uploading a bunch of photos from my recent California trip to Flickr. You can see the whole set here.
Unfortunately, I still only have a basic Flickr account, which means some of my older photos from other trips are now no longer visible. I’ve been contemplating upgrading to a Flickr Pro account lately, but it seems a bit expensive for what you get. Does anyone out there recommend Flickr Pro? Are there any worthwhile alternatives?
I do plan to write up some travel logs from the trip, but I realize I still haven’t finished writing up the details of our U.K. trip either. I’ll get around to that as soon as I can. Somehow I need to find more time to write in this blog. Speaking of which, I think it’s also time for a redesign. I’m getting sick of the current look, and I want to reorganize things a bit. I guess that will be another project for the summer. Stay tuned!

Leonard Nimoys handprint definitely rules. And the pictures of the seals and the little lizard were amazing!
It’s a shame you’re wearing a hat all the time though, because it looks like your head is perfectly spherical! Has Jay ever squozed it to see what its like?

I really enjoyed reading the partial synopsis of your trip to the U.K. from before. I’d like to read more about that and you trip to CA.
As far as photos are concerned, I as well ran out of space on my standard Flickr account, so I just started uploading my pictures to my own website since I really only wanted to show them to personal friends of mine. You could do that as well and just post the pictures here, but that method does make you lose that feeling of being part of Web 2.0 community. I don’t really mind though because between Flickr, Myspace, Facebook, and all of the other community sites I’m a part of for whatever reason, it feels like half my life is spent telling complete strangers who don’t care about me what I’m doing.
