Wonder Showzen is weird to me - I love it while I’m watching it, but when I’m not it definitely feels so much more obnoxious, one-note and indefensible in the way it tries to shock people. I can like shock humor but other times it feels so desperate. With Wonder Showzen though when I’m watching the real show I find they are pushing limits even further than anything else and are doing it with enough of a wink that they don’t feel as blatantly mean as they do when advertising in clips like in that link. They are definitely better satirists with their shock than Trey Parker and Matt Stone these days.

But again, overall I think eventually people are going to get sick of the mean spirited winking shit, its reaching a point where mining for Hitler material is as cliched and lame as doing Austin Powers or Borat accents to impress your friends. I can’t believe we are living in that age, but yeah, stuff like that “10 seconds what do you know about Jews” shit… boo.
