Although I didn't play the Lego Star Wars games all that much, I have a feeling this will end up getting my money as well... how can you resist Lego Indy? You can't.
Just a little heads up for anyone in Canada who’s looking for more hilarity from the likes of Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg (the director and star, respectively, of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz). Specialty channel Showcase is currently airing episodes from their cult British TV series Spaced, which is, as they say, where the magic first happened.
Actually, I think they also worked together on a short-lived sketch comedy series called Is It Bill Bailey?… but no one ever talks about that.
In Spaced, Pegg stars as an aspiring comic book artist/geek who pretends to be married to a girl he barely knows so that they can get a decent flat together. I’ve only seen a couple of episodes so far, but I like what I’ve seen. Episodes air on Wednesday nights after 11 pm EST.
You can also catch pretty much the entire run of the show via BitTorrent or YouTube, but if you’re not internet-inclined then this is probably your best bet. Besides, given the writer’s strike situation, everyone is guaranteed to have extra TV watching time on their hands, right?
Tune in now, and you’ll seem that much cooler when the McG-produced remake comes to Fox later this year!
